NeuroFuel brings four mushrooms together with Blue Mountain Coffee. Here’s a closer look at the ingredients behind the blend.

01 · Lion’s mane

A mushroom like no other.

Hericium erinaceus

With its soft, cascading spines, lion’s mane is instantly recognisable. It grows on hardwood and has a distinctive appearance that sets it apart from the familiar cap-and-stem mushroom.

For Restural, it represents the curiosity at the heart of our collection: looking more closely at ingredients from the natural world and finding a place for them in everyday life.

Lion’s mane extract is one of the four mushroom ingredients in NeuroFuel.

02 · Reishi

Distinctive by nature.

Reishi mushroom

Reishi’s rich reddish-brown colour and sculptural, fan-shaped cap make it one of the most recognisable mushrooms in our blend. Its woody texture is very different from the mushrooms we usually prepare in the kitchen.

It is another reminder that mushrooms are a remarkably varied group. Each has its own character, from the way it grows to the form in which it becomes part of a blend.

NeuroFuel includes reishi extract alongside lion’s mane, chaga and cordyceps.

04 · Cordyceps

Small details. Remarkable variety.

Cordyceps mushroom

The slender, brightly coloured forms associated with cordyceps offer another perspective on the diversity of fungi. They look entirely different from lion’s mane, reishi and chaga.

Our interest in natural ingredients begins with that variety. Rather than treating every mushroom as the same, we make room for the individual ingredients that shape each blend.

Cordyceps extract completes NeuroFuel’s four-mushroom combination.

03 · Chaga

An unexpected forest ingredient.

Chaga mushroom

Chaga has a rugged, dark exterior rather than a conventional mushroom cap. Against pale birch bark, its irregular shape and deep colour create a striking contrast.

That unassuming appearance is part of its appeal. It invites a closer look at the ingredients around us, including those we might otherwise pass by.

Chaga extract adds another mushroom ingredient to the NeuroFuel blend.
